Method #1 – Remove Write Protection From Micro SD Card Toggle switch.
Some cards or even micro sd cards have a toggle switch either on its right or left side which is used to enable or disable the write protection on the sd card. Check if your sd card has the same button and if yes, simply turn it off.

Method #2 – Remove Write Protection From Micro SD Card Using Registry Editor
Registry editor in windows can be used to remove write protection from the sd card. Follow these steps.
Step 1:- Press Windows + R key on the keyboard, you will see a Run command dialogue box. Enter regedit and press enter.
Step 2:- Registry editor window will open. Now go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\
And look for the catalog/folder named StorageDevicePolicies, if it’s not available then create it with the same name.
Step 3:- Once you are in StorageDevicePolicies, you will see the option named Write Protection. Set its value to zero.

Method #3 – Remove Write Protection From Micro SD Card Using Diskpart
In this method, we will use the diskpart utility to remove the write protection from the sd card. Again, follow these simple steps.
Step 1:- Open CMD (Command Prompt). Press Windows + R to open RUN dialogue box window, type CMD and press enter to open the command prompt.
Step 2:- Type diskpart and press enter to launch the diskpart utility.
Step 3:- Now type list disk and press enter to list all the disks and storage devices attached to your computer like Disk 1, Disk 2, etc.
Identify the number of your micro sd card. For the sake of this tutorial let’ say its Disk 2. Now, to select the micro sd card using this. Type following command and press enter to select the Disk.

Replace the disk 2 in the above command with the identifier index number of your sd card.
Step 4:- Now that we have selected the micro sd card, we can perform any operation on it using the Diskpart utility.
Step 5:- Now, type attributes disk clear readonly and press enter to remove the read-only attribute and remove the write protection from the micro sd card.

Method #4 – Remove Write Protection Using disk partition manager and formatting software.
